If it doesn't stop when you press on the speedo it's
probably not it, but while you have your tank off you
should take the three? nuts off that hold the speedo
assembly in place, then take off the springs and stretch
them a bit so that it really tights up the speedo. If it isn't
the speedo rattling now, it will rattle soon. As mentioned, the
plastic light bucket is a very likely spot for rattles. Grab it
when riding and check if it goes away. I used gobs of
silicone adhesive when reassembling the bucket. Put the stuff
everywhere that looks like it might rattle.
